Venice and the surrounding areas offer many beautiful options for wonderful beach photography. I typically shoot at Venice Beach, Venice Pier or Jetty, Caspersen Beach, Manasota and Siesta Keys. No matter if you live in Venice or are visiting our wonderful area, Venice is a perfect spot for beautiful photography. |

I can't imagine life without dogs.....my life is divided into dog stages - what dog I had the pleasure of sharing time with. Each one of them is and was special in their own way.
Everywhere I go people have their dogs with them. These are the happy ones. Unfortunately not all dogs are so lucky. That blog is for another time. The photos found in this gallery are of dogs and their people - all happy to be sharing time and space together. |

It wasn't always like this, me taking pictures with my camera and gear in tow......As a kid I always ran from anyone holding a camera. My brother-in-law would follow me around with his 8mm movie camera. Today those movies are priceless. So are the hundreds of "snapshots" dating back 50+ years. They are small reminders of daily life.
I think that's why I am drawn to photography today. It allows me to create memories, documenting life and the people, pets, places and things that make up everyday life.
